I love creating bespoke pieces of art based on colour schemes or personal briefs that are given to me. If you like the idea of commissioning an original piece of art for your home or office, here’s an insight into how the process works.
How it works…
Step 1
- Get in touch with your idea / concept or colour scheme
- Suggest an approximate size, e.g. 50cm x 60cm
- Suggest a medium, e.g. acrylic paint on canvas, watercolour
- Provide a photograph or other inspiration (optional)
Step 2
- I send you a quotation for creating the work, which includes UK postage
- You confirm your order and pay 50% of the quoted price (non-refundable)
Step 3
- Allow up to 4 weeks for the piece to be created
- I send you an image of the completed work for you to preview
- You pay the remainder of the quoted price
- The completed work is dispatched to you by UK post
I am very open to discussing ideas by phone / message throughout the process!
Example
The customer requested 3 x A2 acrylic paintings on paper containing the moon in a starry sky, incorporating silhouettes of her children. She provided some photo inspiration and phrases to include in the artwork.
